Ideal choice for strolling around in Lynden with best value. The room had a cozy gas fireplace that was perfect for the chilly evenings. Avoid the ground floor units for better privacy and security.

great room size but extra charges surprising
The studio apartment offered an impressive amount of space that comfortably accommodated my family. The corner location with the windows created a bright and airy atmosphere, perfect for our needs.
The additional $50 charge for the third person felt unexpected and could be clearer in policy.

Family with children liked it, mostly
I liked the size of the room especially and being on the corner with the windows. It was a large room with kitchen, plenty enough for 3, 1 adult and 2 kids but I had to pay an extra 50$ Fine as they put it, for the third person.
It wasn't cheap, a bit pricey if you ask me, but still okay.

Arriving at Homestead Resort felt like a quick escape into relaxation. I found the staff friendly and eager to help. The room had a spacious layout with a fully equipped kitchen, perfect for cooking during my stay. The gas fireplace added warmth during the chilly nights, which I appreciated. The pools and fitness center were well-maintained, and I loved the option to enjoy both indoor and outdoor hot tubs. Dining at the restaurant was a treat. I enjoyed a delicious meal with several gluten-free choices. However, my room faced the parking lot, which was not ideal for privacy. The heavy doors to the building were cumbersome when managing luggage, and I had trouble with the air conditioning unit, which was noisy at night. The lack of shampoo and conditioner left me having to bring my own, as only soap was provided. Those little details impacted the overall convenience of my stay.

The facilities include access to a golf course just outside your door, great for enthusiasts. Outdoor seating at the clubhouse offers a pleasant spot to unwind with views of the game. The indoor and outdoor pools provide a good way to relax, especially with enforced hours to keep the kid chaos at bay.
Arriving after 6 PM made unlocking my room a hassle. I had to chase down a code from a 1-800 number. The front desk wasn’t staffed during those hours, leading to a $50 charge for a locked-out key. Heavy front doors made carting luggage a struggle and the pool's limited hours due to lifeguard availability prevented us from using it with the kids during our stay.
